Science of Skill National Self Reliance Initiative They advertise a free knife on "the patriot network" and email these offers to just pay shipping. When you take them up on it, they enroll you in a course that costs $57 a month but they never tell you about it. The commitment is buried in the promotional materials. Typical scammers.
They suck you in with an offer of a "free" knife, just pay shipping. You pay it. Then you get dinged for $57.
Apparently when you agree to pay the shipping you're also agreeing to sign up for some bogus survival course that costs $57 a month. And they just take the money from the same card you used to pay your shipping costs. Are you seeing the scam here? And when you email them for a refund, you get an automated response that says "we'll respond in one business day," but of course they don't.
Then you find out that to get your refund, you have to return the "free" knife, so it isn't free after all. Liars and scammers.
