salt a family friend turned fraud ca antioch
Melissa was a family friend from church talked my mother into moving out of oakland. telling my mom its not safe for my younger siblings. she then showed my mom properties and showed my mom how much better it would be for us.
My mother trusted her and we listed our house and was told that we can now move to our new house. we met with professionals in a real estate business banks etc signed papers everything seemed legit until 11 months later and were told that our 12 month lease is over and we have a month left. we went to her house her two sisters house and it was all empty.
Neighbors told us that she had sold everythihng and moved to las vegas. we sold our house for $359k she wiped my moms account and we were left with nothing. my mother and father are first generation immigrants. worked years to finally purchase a house in 1997 for all of us.
