Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

RE/Max Luxury home management managed by two people are extremely incompetent in their manners and business style. First thing I noticed that even though they started the their brokerage about a year ago , they dont have a website and still use gmail addresses. Even though I asked them if I could work for them as a freelance on their admin.

side of the business for a few days until both parties decide if we can work together part time but, they did not accept it as they wanted to transfer me as an agent asap even though I only applied for the admin job! I notice that a few companies in Orange County are playing these games including this one Re/Max Luxury properties in Newport Beach!

They act like they hire you than a few days later they say that it wont work for the admin. side but  you are a great agent, since we did the transfer stay with us! This is one of their games to lock agents in their company. Secondly, they have zero organizational skills, when a person training you both company owners standing behind you and not trusting their own person to train you!

The person who train you is useless as well- they dont have proper manual in details like what an admin person will do from day 1! they have a few things in their manual related to new agent ATTRACTION and how to put them on board. Passwords are all over the place and the person who was supposed to train me dissaperad on the first day and they expected me to find all the password including how to enter the computer!

so called IT professor told me that I was supposed to find a password ! it is my first day in the office I open the office and I have to become a searcher or hacker to find their password! I sent text messages to him as well as the girl who was training me no reply back about the passwords!

They expect you to know everything in your first day from their so called chinese version of whatsapp to passwords as well as operation of the office kitchen etc without any manual or anyone showing it to you! They have no website, they still use old fashion gmails on their businesscards, zero idea how to market the company and listings online!

I taught them a few things in my 2 days there! than they blame you , you could not find a password to get into the system!! and in return the management told me that they DONT NEED LEADS ! THEIR TELEPHONE DID NOT RING EVEN ONCE in 2 days i was there! and they are trying to get realtors on board! they have zero promotion online anywhere on the internet, zore promotion offline (except a few chinese magazines) and they told me that they dont need leads!

Either as an admin or as a realtor DO NOT JOIN this company-- I am an experienced agent internationally and have more than 10 years experience , I worked in a few companies here to I hae never seen a management team or real estate company like this in my life!

Dear "Anonymous",

Re/Max Luxury Properties in Newport Beach is managed by a team of professional agents that have been licensed for more than 20 years. The broker of the office has been in the real estate field for over 20 years from residential to hotel commercial. With your time being here at the brokerage, yes the brokerage was established roughly a year before your start date. We mentioned before your start date that we are still a work in progress, we were not yet set and stone.

In addition to your comment, Re/Max Luxury Properties in Newport Beach is not here to play any games nor have we ever attempted to conceive anyone joining our company. We respected the fact you joined our firm as an office admin. We apologize for motivating you to get your license to become a real estate agent and earn more money and benefit YOU in the long run.

Secondly, everyone in the real estate field knows the board wants you to stay with a brokerage for at least 6 months before switching. The reason we decided to let you go was your lack of work in the office. The majority of your time was spent in the breakroom rather than your desk. You spent almost over an hour at lunch without notifying anyone you were going to be out for more than 30 minutes. Not to mention the fact you stole food and dishes from the office the day we let you go, yes we still have camera footage of this.

We understand no one is perfect. Our office passwords were in your drawer, at your convenience. We hired you because you promoted yourself as a responsible and professional person who is capable of figuring out solutions.

We respect your opinion about the company and we apologize for any inconvenience of your time spent here. Our purpose of this post is to clarify to future agents and admins our point of view in this situation and to fill in the details you have decided to leave out.
