Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My wife and I own two coin operated ice vending machines (free standing buildings) one located in South Dallas at 1893 South St. Augustine Road, Dallas, TX 75217, and the other at 12917 Seagoville Road, Balch Springs, TX 75180.  About 7 months ago, on the promise of better rates, we switched our service to Reliant electric.  It was a horrible decision.  We could never get our bills.

Reliant would claim they had mailed our bill, and would tell us to go to the post office and ask them why we did not get our mail.  I would go online, and try to download our bill, but the website would not let us on, because it said we had a multiple account.  The only way we could get a bill was to call them and get them to email us a bill.

We would give them a credit card and pay the bills, and ask each time, is this all the charges.  We complained each time that we were not getting a  bill, and each time we were told, Reliant is mailing the bills.  We finally got a call from a supervisor in early January, asking about the problems (after 6 months of complaining).

She was able to straighten out the computer (which had a hold on mailing us a bill for some reason) and get our mailings started.  We got our first bill in late January.  It had extra charges of $129.80, $25.00, $10.00, and $1.75.  in addition to our usage in December of $352.08.

I called customer service and talked to Marshall.  He said the extra charges were from November when we owed $192.03 more than we paid.  I said how can that be?  We never got any bills, and we always called in and paid whatever you said was due.  He said he could refund the $25.00 but could not review the $$192.03, because it was too old.

I asked to speak to a supervisor.  He said he was a supervisor.  I asked to speak to his boss.  He said he had no boss.  I gave up and said I would talk to the PUC and the Texas Attorney General.  He said that was fine.
