Plivo is a cheap cheap scam, do not use - no support, they don't care about their customers San Francisco California
I have been unfortunate to build my entire business on Plivo platform. The platform is unstable and there is virtually no support. This is an india-based company with a small HQ in Bay Area, and claims to be a unicorn. Guess what - they are not.
Support is non-existent. For any VoIP provider, support and connectivity is key. They can't keep their servers and their network up, heck, they even once forgot to renew their own domain and went completely down for 2-3 days!!! I can't say it better than this other unfortunate user:
Plivo works. You can use phone numbers and program them just as they say. It's not the best service on the market, comparing to the competition, it has some problems, but it could be acceptable for you.
This company is completely untrustworthy. After months of running contract, they go down all of a sudden, and when I ask about the SLA they hit me with fees and ask for more money or account will be closed.
Do yourself a favor and avoid any company that shows that level of arrogance and irresponsibility. No matter the size. It's just not worth to risk being a hostage of people like that.
