Planet Cyclery sent an obviously incorrect part, and it took longer than normal to receive it.  I was unable to return to the project for a couple weeks, only to discover the incorrect part.  They are an Amazon vendor and hide the details of their return policy.  If you send the wrong item, that's your fault.  It is not the customer's fault.

If you take your time sending it, you cannot expect the customer to be standing by the door with baited breath to check to confirm you sent the wrong part.  It is incredible any vendor can claim the right to send what is obviously the wrong item, and blame the customer for relying on them - as a bicycle retail supplier

-  to know the difference between a single and a double kickstand!  If I have to immediately open and inspect everything I buy from a vendor to confirm they sent the correct item, I am not going to do business with that vendor as they are not competent and cannot be relied upon. 

Planet Cyclery is unreliable.  They hide behind fine print.   They are not a bicycle store...they are a faceless corporate profit center.  Buy your bike parts from bike stores.  In 45 years of riding I have never been confronted with such two faced hypocritical unfairness.
