Phoenix Car Rental Quoted me $278.00 for two day car rental with a $500 deposit and charged me $412.00. Phoenix Arizona
I had needed to rent a car without using a credit card (debit card only), so I called around and when I called Phoenix Car Rentals, they quoted me a $278.00 total rental amount for two days, with a $500 dollar deposit. So, I went and rented the vehicle, which was not in the best condition and the person behind the counter was in a hurry, he copied my driver's license and debit card on a copier and in a rushed manner without explaining anything, agreed verbally when I asked that the total amount for two days was $278.00, he said "yes, its $278.00 for two days". The time was 15 minutes to 6pm and he said they were closing at 6pm. So being rushed and having him verbally agree to the amount, I didn't think twice to look at the paperwork before initialing it. It was not until I recieved the refund back onto my account, did I notice that only $88.00 was refunded. I called them back and asked how come they only refunded this amount, instead of the difference of $500.00, minus $278.00. The person told me to look at my copy of the agreement and it was then that I noticed that the amount was $412.00. These guys are tricky and deceptive, please do not let this happen to you.

You come here to admit to the world your complete lack of financial COMMON SENSE and you blame them? What in the world is wrong with you people??? You were presented with a CONTRACT which is legally enforceable in a Court of Law and yet, you didn't even have enough COMMON SENSE to READ what you were agreeing to BEFORE agreeing to it! You think you can come here for sympathy? They played you like a harp all because YOU allowed it!
