Lincoln Academy ruined my life by having me pay for a diploma that turned out to be fraud.

Sorry, you got scammed, but this happens when you think you can buy your way out of a situation and take the easy way out.
Just about every school district or Community college offers some sort of Adult Education program for High School Diploma, these are offered at very low cost and often free. The difference is that, unlike these diploma mills, they actually take effort. You are not going to be handed an HS diploma without any work.
As for your life being ruined. To be very blunt...stop being dramatic. If you really wanted to get a High School Diploma..you can do it if you are willing to put in the work legitimately.
