Trip to the above was postponed to 2022 due to coronavirus pandemic. They offered 2 Options on April 15, 2020, ie, Opt. 1, $2000 credit (non-refundable) on Passion Play 2022 Tour with remainder of monies refunded. They will hold the credit amount to 2022 and if for whatever reason we cannot tour then, we will lose it; Opt. 2, I can cancel if I don't wish to travel, however, refunds less $1150 will be returned.
On May 1, 2020, we received an email from Carol McGrath, NAWAS Tour Operator, adding (2) more options, ie, the 3rd Option which is now #1 states Travel on Rescheduled Tour in Fall of 2020-full credit given. Where are we going/what month, etc. (our country is still in lockdown=how could a statement as such be made (this credit offer is also non-refundable). Their 4th Option is their Option 3, shows a Full credit on any Nawas tour in 2021-if unable to travel in 2021, you will once again lose that money!
Neither of these 4 options are doable. Firstly, majority, if not all, going to this Passion Play are senior citizens and who can definitively make plans 2 years in advance. I signed up because this trip was a very meaningful/spiritual trip to me, going through a Catholic Church with a priest as Tour Leader and through this "christian" travel agency. They provided the insurance agency, Aon Affinity and strongly recommended that we purchase the Passenger Travel Protection Plan, which I did for $339 (which I have been told will not be refunded). My total amount paid in full was $4620 (thus far no refunds).
