Then, 16 days later, they billed me $99.95 for the product because you did not cancel the ongoing contract that you unwittingly agreed to. Their deception is hidden in the fine print of their TERMS ... they use what is called a "Negative Option clause". This means that if you don't call and cancel your ongoing trial, you will pay and pay and pay until you finally cancel your ongoing monthly subscription of $99.95 USD.
TOTAL SCAM! THIS PRACTICE IS ILLEGAL IN Manitoba and Quebec, but other places, it's a totally legal, if not immoral, scam. Do not agree to free products offered online - this is just to trick you into paying for the shipping charges. Once they have your credit card number, they will use it to cheat you once a month, every month until you finally catch on and cancel your bogus subscription. You have been warned!
