Long Lake Ltd FAULTY BUILDING/WORKMANSHIP AND SUPPLIES Houston, Cypress, Rosharon Texas
Long Lake Ltd is my home builder and I have found that it was a huge mistake for me to purchase from them. There has been so many untruths in what was sold to me. Now that I have closed on the house, all of a sudden I am infomred of "ALL" of the extras that I was never told about by the sales rep nor at the closing table. In less than 5 months, I have had at least six issues which are major, but obviously not to Long Lake, Service requests take long to complete and fail to be completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
My garage door had five pins to all fall out as it was being raised. This left the door barely hangig on the rail. I called the office in a panic and all I was told was "call the Garage company". The gargae company did come out but not without charging $550 for their faulty work and poor equipment The Supervior in the area happened to come two days later to handle another pass due issue and seemed unbothered by the falling garage door on both my vehicles.
Long Lake owes me $550 and I hope the reimbursement will not be one that will require court intervention. Several of he employees lacks knowledge, professionalism, ethics, and experience. Purchasing a home is major and it is very inconsiderate of Long Lake to do a poor job in keeping their customers satisfied considering the financial commitmentm in the purchase. Several of my neighbors have had negative experiences with the builders without any assistance in resolving the issues.
