Kei is a scammer. He will bait and switch you into promising you a low rate but then at the last minute gives a significantly higher rate quote just to raise his commission. He charges points without telling you. He describes himself as a mortgage expert but seems to know very little about the business.
He made mistake after mistake, lost paperwork, didn't answer his phone or email, and would tell us one thing but then give us a completely different answer the next time he spoke to us. He had the audacity to ask for referrals. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to Kei.
We ended up having to go to another mortgage company, one where we could be helped by someone who actually knew what they were doing in order to close on our house. If it had been left to Kei we would have never closed and we would have lost our downpayment and our home. Do not use him for a mortgage. He is a scammer.
