Calls were made to 1Ink to confirm that their HP cartridges would work prior to purchase after explaining that the previous off brand toner cartridges worked well until November 2021. The cartridges were then ordered from 1Ink.com.
When these cartridges failed, our office manager called on 12.16.21, and was advised by their representative to call HP support to request a software downgrade to overide newest software so that 1Ink's cartridges would be accepted. The HP representative said all previous software/drivers were no longer available.
1Ink was called again on 12.16.21, and despite being assured these cartridges would work, she said there was nothing they could do and sent RMA via email. So, denying accountability, to the product cost of $119.60 USD now includes $23.25 USD for return postage. Moreover, the website claims that once items are received, refunds can take up to 1-year from purchase.
Finally, my IT professional was unable to get 1Ink's cartridges to be recognized by the printer. 1Ink grossly misrepresented the alleged success of their cartridges, at least for HP 202 series. Total fail.
