Complaint Review: Incauthority.com - Las Vegas Nevada

I had contacted Incauthority in regards to business services for my company.   They had strongly suggested land trusts for properties my LLC owned.  There were 5 properties owned by the LLC.  I was in the process of flipping two other homes.   I was extremely busy with work as well as having a personal crisis with my autistic son being hospitalized.  They kept contacting me for payment of the order and I quickly gave them my credit card.  

I felt very pressured to get these land trusts in place for the "safety" of my holdings.   They charged me for 7 homes even though I did not order 7 land trusts.  The LLC owned 5 properties and was in the process of selling 2.    Therefore only 3 were actually "needed".  I was charged over 3500.00.   We had several emails back and forth on this matter.  They would not refund for the extra properties that I did not own but said they would credit their servicing fees.  It did not seem fair but I just wanted to be done with all of this.  

Finally, 9 months later,  the drafts of the land trusts were presented to me.  The wording of the land trusts did not look appropritate and I was concerned.  I showed the drafts to my attorney.  My attorney said "this seems risky to me, you are giving up ownership of the property in exchange for very little.  They really aren’t doing anything other than holding title to the property.  You are fully responsible for everything else. " She suggested against these land trusts as they did not look proper and a good liability policy (which I already have) instead.  She is a real estate attorney.  She had never recommended land trusts in previous meetings with her nor did my estate attorney.  I felt as if they had pressured me into these trusts using scare tactics and representing legal advice during a very stressful time in my life.  

I kindly contacted IncAuthority.  I had been working with Daniel Morgan, who is a professional, kind person-although not an attorney.  He stated he would contact his supervisor Andrew McKinish. I appreciate his efforts to resolve this.  

Andrew McKinish was not very helpful at all.  He stated that even though the documents were drafts and never filed, that they would not give a refund.  He requested the email from my attorney for which I obliged.  Even though I sent him my attorney's email that I should not go forward with these, that these filings would leave me in a very vulnerable position, that they represented a legal authority when they are not, that they billed me for more trusts then I "needed", that it took almost a year to get everything completed...they still refused to refund me any of my money.  

They did offer a 50% credit toward their other services.  I felt as if they had pressured me into legal services that they did not have the knowledge or authority to do.  I stated I would look at their other services but  did not feel this was fair. 

Andrew McKinish sent me a flyer of their other services. I believe it even had his photo on it.   These included services I could do for free,  and frankly I would not trust this company to do.  They were:

1. Business Credit (I do not need)

2. Business Plans (learned that in undergrad)

3. Marketing package including website and SEO (I am a former certified web designer and PMP, owned multiple income generating websites-I think I got that covered)

4. Living Trusts and Land trusts (GOD NO would I trust these clowns with my personal information and business assets)

5. Personal Credit repair (my credit score is over 800)

 I seriously have no idea how I could use any of their services and frankly, not to sound arrogant, I do not trust that they have better knowledge on these areas then most of the population.  

I began to reserach the company more.  They use an email signature stating high reviews from a company called http://trustpilot.com. I realize this as a marketing strategy.   I am further investigating Trust Pilot to determine if it is not a  shell website for their marketing.    In reading the lower reviews, clients use the words "pressured" "scam you into paying more money" "nightmare" "disrespect" "scam".  I realized that many new business owners go to them to receive  services.  All of their services you can do  for free from your state site.  

Although I am an experienced business owner, hold a master's degree in business, I reached out to them since I was extremely busy ( flipping two houses, a real estate business and my son being hospitalized)  and did not take the time to research them thoroughly-my mistake.  However, if I can be scammed by this company, what is a new business owner supposed to know?  I began to realize that this is much bigger then the 3500.00 I lost to this company.  I told Andrew McKinish my concerns.  He stated that he "did not appreciate the threats".  I am in no way threatening him or his company. I will share my experience with every consumer, state and federal legal authority.

 This is a much larger problem then the 3500.  I cannot imagine how many people who work so hard for their money are being taken advantage of by this http://incauthority.com who are reviewed by http://trustpilot.com.     My concern is for all the consumers out there that go to them and are taken advantage of.
