   Humana Dental services Do Not Honor their policies. My name is Mr V, and my wife Mrs V are senior citizens. Knowing that we would need Dental Insurance we choose to take out Human's very best Dental Insurance policy called Humana Extend 5000 (PPO), and had nothing but problems with this company. We took this insurance out in July of 2022 and was told by Humana that this was their very best Dental Insurance Policy paying $181.99 a month and that we would have to wait until January 1 2023 to make any major claims. On November 2 2022 I went to my dentist and had an evaluation and preventive maintence of my teeth. My dentist recommended in plants, but I explanned to him that I already had inplants twice and they did not hold up due to the poor structure of my jawbone, so the only other option was to get dentures on my lower mouth. I said fine and he put the order into Humana, but by Febuary 6 2023 Humana claims they never received the dentist report.

    Now I've spoken to my dentist about this and he said he submitted my dental  report to Humana of my needs  on November 3 2022, one day after my exam, now it's Febuary 17 2023 and Humana still hasn't responded to my needs. I have called Humans every day since Febuary 7 2023 and they give me the runaround. I have spoken to 11 people at Humana which I have all their names, dates, and times that I have spoken to them, but still nothing. I requested to speak to a superviser twice and the staff there said they will call me back, but they never did. I am starting to loose my patience with these people and wanted to file this report so that other people know how bad Humana really is and to think twice before using this crooked company.

    My next step is to communicate with the CEO of Humana called Bruce D Brousard to see what he has to say about this situation, and if I don't getting any satifaction from him I will have to report Humana to the Better Business Bureau, The N.Y. State Department of Insurance, The Federal Trade Commission, and of course to my Credit Card Company. I mean this is going on over 3 months now and I have to conclude that Humana is nothing but a scam corrupt company. Oh by the way my wife had to go for oral surgury on January 20 2023 and we had to pay $694.00 out of pocket because the dentist that Humana referred us to is out of network, and we still haven't heard anything about that either, so there you have it, don't waste your time and money with these people.

    My big mistake was not to vet this company before I started up with them. Sincerely, Mr V
