housedataonline.com Beware: Additional unauthorized charges added! Montgomery Alabama
I paid for and received a one time only ($1) report for a property report, which was fine. Then they charged my credit card an additional $28.95 and another $9.93. When I contacted customer service to ask to speak with a supervisor/manager, the call taker became rude and kept saying she was just the call taker. When I told her about the unauthorized charges, she said that unless I had cancelled my account within 48 hours, the monthly charges would occur. But she did cancel my account
I then went back to their website and read the terms and fine print. NOWHERE does it say that I would be charged more than $1 for a single report, nor that I would be automatically signed up for the monthly subscription.
