I was ripped off by hotelplanners.com when I thought I had made my hotel reservations directly with the hotel, I was not aware I was speaking with a third party company, hotelplanners.com after going through agoda.com. Hotel Planners said they would return my money to my debit card account, but to date they haven't and it been over three weeks now. I would like to have my money back.
They were not Americans whom I spoke with. I was charged over $400 for the reservation. After I hung up and spoke to a family member about the amount I was charged, she said that I should not have paid that much to stay for two nights especially since we had a group discount. When I finally got in touch with someone, they told me I had made reservations through a third party. Initially they said the reservations had been made by agoda.com. When I contacted them, I was pointed to hotelplanners.com. They saw my reservations and said within a few business days, they would refund my money. It has been over three weeks now, and my money has not been restored to my account.

You called this "Agoda" as per your report. Why didn't you call the hotel DIRECTLY??? "Agoda" doesn't sounding "Wydom" does it???
