I signed up for a trial for 50 cents. After going through a few pages of upsells, I clicked a big green button by mistake that said, "skip trial and subscribe today.” I clicked that by mistake and nearly instantly realized my error. There was a little tiny link underneath that said, "no thanks.
Just give me my trial,” which was what I actually wanted. Within 3 minutes I requested a refund. The company sent me long emails explaining their whole policy. Ok, but I made a an accidental purchase. There was no way I intended to go from 50 cents to $129. Oh, and they kept my money on Christmas Eve. That’s when all this happened.
