Reservation made in July, 2021 for two rooms in March, 2022.  Paid with credit card. 

Due to Covid issues with family traveling from Florida, several requests were made to cancel these reservations in September - 6 months in advance of the reserved stay.  The stated cancelation period is "14 days prior for full refund".  The only response from the Flyingeranch was to offer a gift certificate for the full amount plus.  This offer was declined - several times.  Intended family guests were aged from 8 years to 76 years and most traveling from Florida during school break.  A pre-paid stay for this group was unlikely to be used.  This was explained with no response.  Have contacted an attorney for assistence, filed a credit card dispute and will persue other avenues like BBB, Social media and consumer protection agencies and TV stations.  

I would be very cautious in making reserservations with this Resort as their reluctance to honor their cancellation policy could only be an indication of financial problems.  Problems that may prevent them from being around when the gift certificate is presented in the future.
