Floor and Decor & The Retail Equation New Return Policy is Contrary to Policy Listed on Receipt Atlanta GA

I made a tile purchase on 10/26/2021 and I had excess tile from a remodeling project. I attempted to return the excess product on March 12, 2022, without my receipt but they were able to see my purchase through my phone number. I was expected to receive store credit in the amount of $414+ but Floor and Decor utilize a 3rd party that declined that return.
TRE https://TheRetailEquation.com a decisioning software determines that all purchase outside 90 days are un-redeemable, which is contrary to the return policy on my receipt. I received a decline with transaction ID: 7826508-020-FAD. When I called TRE, the customer agent informed they have no decision-making capabilities; it's up to the software to determine the eligibility of your refund.
I returned to Floor and Decor on Monday with the receipt this time to get a better result and was declined again with a different transaction ID:7844668-796-FAD. I was told to call TRE only to receive the same generated response. The Retail Equation customer service agents have a one liner and continuosly repeat that one liner. Its a complete wast of time. Floor and Decor customer service is a complete waste of time as they pass the buck to The Retail Equation.
Even though, my receipt states "Floor and Decor Return policy F&D reserves the right to limit or deny returns" But the decision is made in part by TRE and not by Floor and Decor. My receipt also states "For all returns: All returned merchandise must be undamaged and in resaleable condition. Returns within 90 days of purchase will be processed by the same method of payment from your original purchase. Returns over 90 days from purchase or without an original sales receipt will be processed to merchandise credit"
I would suggest if you own a Tile or wood installation company find another source that will accept your excess supply as Floor and Decor will not accept refunds after 90 days even IF YOU WANT STORE CREDIT AND EVEN IF THEY STILL CARRY THE SAME PRODUCT AND EVEN IF THEIR RECEIPT CLEARLY STATES RETURNS AFTER 90 DAYS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR STORE CREDIT.
