In 2014 I had found an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal telling about Evan Savar and his inventions that he had come up with. I reached out to him asking for guidance to patent and make a prototype for a child safety device I had created.
At this time he offered his services, and to my delight informed me that he could make my prototype and patent my idea for me.
I paid him $2200 and for the following years, never received my products and was given the run-around about getting a refund.
Over the years, he only proceeded to talk to me as if I was more and more out of line asking for my money back.
I represented myself in serving him papers, had to track down multiple addresses and eventually impersonate a potential client to finally peg him down to serve him papers.
He never responded to the court, at that point I found out his bank account number and relinquished the funds directly. Which, unfortunately was tied to his colleagues bank account... Even not only was aware that I was seeking a refund, but had absolutely no regard when served legal documentation, to the detriment of his colleagues bank account.
As you can imagine, this was quite an ordeal.
I would highly recommend you DO NOT hire Evan for service. Or if you do, DO NOT pay him a penny up-front.
