Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My daughter and myself were scheduled for allergy testing 5/22/17. April 27 we were told we had 10 days to get out of the house we were rentin as the owner wanted to sell. This put us in a hard spot. I had just had neck surgery 1/20/17 putting disc in C4-5 & C5-6. It is only me and my 2 girls and they both have medical conditions where my oldest passed out 15 times in the 10 days we were given so I was the main person that had to pack and move most items.

This was causing me pain in my neck, numbness in my arms and horrible headaches. It ended up taking us until around the 14 which we were threatened if we were not out by the 13th if we were not out they would lock us which this was illegal for them to do. we did get out as much as we could even leaving behind a freezer full of meats, a lot of my craft wood a BBQ and more just to be out of there.

we moved into my ex-mother-in-laws basement and between trying to get organized and struggling from headaches and my neck hurting so much I forgot about our appointment. I can see if we just ignored the appointment but I feel like we had a sistuation that was not something we knew about early on nor did we expect. Them billing us for the full amount I feel like is being a provider I would NEVER refer anyone to nor go back there ever again.

I have sent in emails, letters and even called and talked to someone and they still have not changed this bill. I hope no one else ever has to deal with what we have been through with this company. Please do not even go to this provider as they do not deserve new or previous clients.

I can see if we just ignored the appointment but I feel like we had a sistuation that was not something we knew about early on nor did we expect.

- But here is the thing with that. As far as they are concerned you did just ignore the appointment. By you missing the appointment that is time that they lost by not being able to book someone else. Most professional services such as doctors or clinics require at least a 24 hour notice of cancellation or you will be charged.

The other minor point is that you stated you were moved out on the 14th, that is 8 days before this appointment.

Honestly at this point you may not be able to do anything about the bill but pay it. However, you may have recourse against your landlord if the eviction was indeed illegal. But what ever you do you need to act fast depending on the Statute of Limitations for your area. Many areas have an SOL of 2 years, and you are now only a month away from that time. If you are still able to go after the landlord you may be able to go after them for not only any expenses due to the eviction but additional damages. I would highly suggest you at least consult an attorney who specializes in landlord/tenant law.
