Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We purchased a home in November 2018 and called Empire Carpet out for a quote on flooring. During our consultation we opted to replace only the carpeting throughout the h*o.e as the cost was way more than what we were expecting. Within a week of signing our contract we had carpeting installed in our home. Everything looked to be okay and here we are less than 2 years later and the carpeting was coming up where the carpet met the tile.

I reached out to my sales rep and was advised everything was still covered under warranty. When I reached out to have someone come repair the carpet I was et with pushback. Eventually they sent a technician out and while they were here all areas were addressed except by the front door. When they attempted to fix the carpet there they had to stop - they informed us that the carpet was cut too short and that when trying to stretch it it started to fray.

The technician advised us that the carpet was delaminating because the carpet was cut short. When we were contacted by the main office we were immediately met with resistance about the carpet. They tried to blame us for the delamination saying that when our carpets were cleaned we used too much water. Mind you I've been cleaning my own carpets for over 10 years and have never had anything else like this. They refused to submit a claim to the manufacturer because I am not able to produce a receipt for my carpet cleaner. I provided a copy of my warranty, which shows the date of purchase, but they refuse to accept it.

I will reach out to you, but as I have before with no success I have little faith your company will do anything for us. I have tried everything I could to get someone to resolve our issues including Facebook and I get the please email us at whatever email address and then it goes nowhere. We've had a call saying an inspector would come out to look at the carpet and a month and a half later it still hasn't happened. A second call came in about an inspector and guess what two weeks later nothing.
