No service performed because they didn't set appt electrical work. Paid the $100 deposit for no service. 18hrs.of calls & still no refund (6wks.now) At the end of Sept.2020 I placed my first (only&last) call for electrical service. They took my $100 deposit. I was never given a contractor appt./name. A few days later I called and had to find out for myself who was assigned to the job. I had to call them myself to "set the appt.¨ After 4-5 games of phone tag I never got an appt. The contractor answered without using a biz name, never had a writing utensil to take my info.,

promised to call me (never did) and kept asking me to call at a more convenient time. Finally, they cancelled my job without appt. In the meantime, I am calling Cinch to explain/complain/get a new repair company. The customer service is horrible. Bad training. Each rep. responds differently, has different info. My requests for a supervisor to call NEVER happened. I was told they respond in 48 hrs max. 4 requests for supervisor call back and I got none. One rep. told me they could email me the time/date for an appt. (they cant). Other reps. were rude stating that I "keep calling", and they keep telling me "to wait"...like this is MY FAULT. Yes!

I keep calling because the company is KEEPING MY MONEY for a JOB NOT PERFORMED! I began steps to cancel my contract as nothing was getting accomplished and requested my $100 deposit. On Oct. 6 2020 I began the process of calling every few days, sitting on hold for HOURS (literally), having calls dropped while on hold or when transferred several times. Since I was getting no where with customer service, I wrote a letter to the corporate office and was told to contact customer service. Pointless! The contract states that I would get a refund for my deposit if the job is not performed 10-20 days after the request. Well, 20 days later Oct. 27, I talked to a rep.

who stated that I keep calling, put me on hold, then the call dropped after about 40 minutes of waiting. I called again right away (btw, 2 hrs. is normal time to talk and have nothing accomplished). He verified that I am beyond the 20 days so he would "make a request for a refund". (i have already requested every few days and emailed a letter to the corporate office.) I was told that I would receive my refund on the debit card I used 7-10 days. Today it is November 11 2020 and guess what...Yup, no refund yet. I am about to send another letter to corporate office, make more hours of phone calls to customer service, but also file as many complaints as I can. BTW, I returned my business to a reputable company with great service, dependable and professional. In fact, I gave them a contract for 2 homes.

After dozens of hours of phone calls, several emails & USPS letter to the corporate office over the course of months, which yeilded NO results..it wasn't until I filed multiple complaints through various agencies relating to consumper fraud to finally get results.

Ultimately, I believe contacting BBB got results and my money came quickly thereafter.

With my partial (pro-rated) refund for the yearly contract, and my refunded $100 deposit for the 1 job I attempted to have done, I signed up with AHS (I gave them 2 houses in fact). I made my first service call with AHS and so far I am VERY PLEASED with the smooth, effortless, timely and straight-forward response.  They service company has not actually come out yet, but the appointment is set and I feel confident.  I felt good after my conversation with AHS customer service when I inquired about their prices and services. Very professional so far.
