so far chase has charged me over 600 in nsf fees by putting transactions through in the middle of the night and instantly adding the max fees possible at a time when i cannot get to the bank to add funds to cover any transactions they never send me any alerts until days or weeks after by my understanding this is illegal waiting till afterhours to process transactions at 2 am so i cannot even see them until the next day and then adding fees that i have no chance of avoiding

No, you can't "beat" withdrawals from your account by rushing to make deposits.  But you certainly DO have "a chance" to avoid fees:  keep a running tab of deposits and withdrawals and stop spending money you don't yet have.  In other words, get your financial house in order so that you aren't living on the margins like this.  Maybe give yourself an allowance every month and stop spending money when you run out of that cash?

You know that if you overdraft, you'll be slapped with a fee.  Yet you keep playing this game with your bank.  That's on you, sorry.

BTW, you say your bank is doing something "Illegal."  Please cite the law you are referring to.  You are NOT entitled to alerts.  Keep your own records and stop being ridiculous.

I understand your dislike of fees but your understanding of the system is a little wrong. Every bank does it's daily processing, when things go from pending to posted, around midnight for the previous day. The time to add money to your account to avoid any fees is to add the money before you authorize a trnsaction/ debit. Use the ledger that comes with your checks or ask at the bank for a ledger. Record evey transaction as you do it. Add deposits when you make them, pay attention to availability dates on very large deposits.

Subtract the debits as you authorize them, even if you send a check. Doing this and keeping your balance in the positive will keep you from causing yourself any fees. Remember to subtract any monthly, automatic debits a couple of days early. Any system other than this will cause you to spend money on fees no one can afford.

Disclaimer: NO, i don't work for Chase or any bank.

Chase is doing nothing illegal at all.  Banks, like everything else have systems that run 24/7.  If you don't want NSF fees, don't overdraw your account.  It's that simple.

The NSF Fees Are Entirely Your Fault

You are incorrect. Their actions are not unlawful. The late-night transactions were presented for payment on the prior business day. As an account holder you have the responsibility to deposit funds prior to attempting to draw against them. You can avoid NSF fees by simply maintaining a check register of your transactions.
