Champaign Place They won't refund my money for a room I never lived in. Memphis Tennessee
Not getting a refund for a room I did not use.
On 04/29/2019 I acquired a room at Champaign Place. Later on, during that same day, some very important family matters came up. Cause of this I am unable to move into the room.
I called them that same day and on 04/30/2019 letting them know that I won't be able to live in the room. I was told that they don't do refunds. I paid $780.00 and I haven't spent 1 night there or moved anything in the room.
They said that it was stated in my papers but this was not mentioned when we went over the papers, but the only thing stated was the $100 deposit and the $150 NRAF payment. I know that those 2 I won't get back but I should be able to get the rest of my money back since I haven't moved in or slept there 1 night.
When I asked them what do I need to do they just said you have the room for 30 days no refunds. That is unfair and not right.
