Carvana Carvana sold me a car that has been in a prior accident. I noticed the bumper was off a bit and took it to get an estimate and TWO body shops verified that the vehicle was in a prior unreported accident Despite Silver Rock paying 2500.00 for the repairs because I just got the car, Carvana is refusing to acknowledge that they were aware they sold me a car that was in a accident.

Even their own inspection report had fixed damage on the vehicle where there was prior impact. They misrepresented the condition of the vehicle interior. The interior had water stains and cigarette burns...all NOT noted on their report. They refuse to do anything and I'm stuck paying a high car payment for a car that's clearly not worth what they advertised since it was damaged.

I even filed a complaint with the attorney general and they lied to cover up what they did. ... your description. They have made several attempts to avoid rectifying the matter, but that's fraud. The vehicle is worth far less and I can't eveb get it refinanced or sell it because of the pre existing damage and I've only had the car for 35 days.

There is NOTHING you can write or say which justifies this STUPID idea of buying a USED CAR sight unseen! NOTHING! This idiocy is completely void of any COMMON SENSE!

You clearly wanted a good, dependable car yet YOU failed to even check out this car to see if it was good and dependable! This is absolute insanity anybody with half a brain can very obviously see!

The inspection report provided was clear. Why would I put a report here if it weren't. I know was misrepresention is. Do you? There was no interior damage noted. Find something better to do with your time.

While I asked a very legitimate question, your responses basically proved The Dog's point.

These issues were identified AFTER the 7 day guarantee

- Really? So the interior that wasn't as described took you longer than 7 days to figure out that the cigarette burns and water stains shouldn't be there? Was the inspection report that listed the damage written in disappearing/reappearing ink that didn't magically reappear until day 12?

Apparently you are uninformed regarding the car buying process. You have the opportunity to return the car, inspect it drive, etc.

- And apparently you chose drive over inspect.

The accident was UNREPORTED on the Carfax dummies.

- You do know that dealer's don't report to Carfax.   Any accident would have been reported by either the Body Shop, Insurance company or State depending on the severity.  So that means that the person who got into the accident, got the car repaired outside of their insurance and normal channels to keep it unreported.  Car Dealers aren't mind readers, they don't go looking for issues.  If they pull a Carfax, and the CarFax comes back clean...that's good enough for them.  This goes for ANY dealer.

I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD SENSE ENOUGH TO GET THE CAR CHECKED OUT BY A BODY SHOP BECAUSE IT WAS COVERED UP

- Covered up? Again how exactly did the cover up the water stains and cigarette burns? How exactly did they cover up the written inspection report that listed the damage?

A mind is terrible thing to waste.

- So is thousands of dollars, which is why I am sure you are upset at yourself. Because your own posts show that your actions(or inactions) put you into this situation.

At this point it is just a case of Buyer's Remorse...Enjoy the car.

Why not use COMMON SENSE? This was a USED CAR. The decision to buy this thing was based on pictures on a computer monitor, words in an email and a voice on the phone. NONE of those things have any bearing on the REAL CONDITION of the car! Anybody with half a brain knows the perils of buying a used car.

For anyone to buy a used car sight unseen is just plain insane! There's no way to twist this, no way to justify this. It's a USED CAR. You CANNOT know the condition UNLESS you see it, test drive it and have your own mechanic check it over! Buying a USED CAR sight unseen is just as STUPID as somebody putting on a blindfold and attempting to cross the busiest street in their town and when they get hit, blaming the vehicle which hit them! BUYING A USED CAR SIGHT UNSEEN IS PLAIN STUPID AND THATS A FACT!

Since these issues would have been obvious as soon as you got the car, why didn't you take advantage of their 7-Day Money Back guarantee?

Since you didn't mention how they refused to return the car, we can only figure that you didn't try to return it.  You don't get it both ways.  You can't decide to keep the car, but then turn around and complain how they ripped you off. Especially if they give you the option to return the car within 7 days.

What you're telling the world is you sent your money off to buy some USED CAR which you've NEVER seen! Now you come here and want sympathy for your incredible lack of COMMON SENSE! Nearly EVERYBODY has known someone who has been burned with a USED CAR purchase when they bought it locally.

You take this further into the world of stupidity by not even seeing what you were buying BEFORE you buy it! Am I ever, ever impressed!
