Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Last week my wife and I went to New York City. When we went to Bowling Green at the southern tip of the city, a man came up to us with a security badge and said he was the official check-in for the Statue of Liberty. He asked if we had a reservation, which we did not, do he and another person, someone in a foam Statue of Liberty hat, said that he would sell us tickets to the Statue of Liberty.

After paying the man almost a hundred dollars, we were taken by bus to a different part of the city. It was a pier somewhere on the river where we, and another group of tourists had to wait in the extreme heat. We asked for water or some answeres, but no one helped us. Then we were put on a boat that went somewhere else. This is a scam. We just wanted to see the statue!
