I purchased my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Valencia Autonation Ford in 2016.  I've had the car serviced by Autonation exclusively. I brought my car in for service July 19,2019 for Oil Change, Inspection, Air and Cabin Filters changed for a cost of $154.85.

Stella Malone was my service writer.  The oil light wasn't reset, and a clip is now lodged in my airvent making it unusable.

The Vent is Wedged in a Manner that you can not Adjust or Move

Actually the clip wedged the vent so it will not move, open and close as it did when it functioned.  Not to mention the clip is no longer in the original spot nor is the screw it was used to attach.  So as the vent no longer functions I consider it to be damaged.

As for the light not being reset, I did reset it trusting that the dealership did actually change the oil.  So charging full price for the service, not doing it correctly, damaging another part and leaving out other services, I feel ripped off!  What's your definition of rip off?

Not a RipOff

Obviously you are one for melodramatics. When you post statements such as "damaged to my car", people are going to think something major such as they left the oil out, or crashed the car. You have a clip in a vent, that I am sure isn't causing any sort of damage, and is probably no more than an inconvienience to actually take the time to get it out, or have them do it.

As for the resetting of the oil light. You could have reset the light yourself in a fraction of the time it took you to post this "less than a" ripoff report. It took me about 30 seconds to find out how to do it.

Turn the car to the accessories position where you can scroll through your settings menu until you get to the vehicle settings. Once there select the oil indicator.

RipOff..NO. Bad Service..Perhaps, and that would be dependent on what sort of opportunity you gave them to make it right?

Why Are You Even Messing Around With a Dealer For Service?

Come on now....you can do much better than this! Find a good independent shop and patronize them. The FRAUD and DECEPTION which runs rampant on the sales floor has now flowed into many dealership shops like raw sewage on a down hill street.

At a dealership YOU WILL experience price gouging, poor customer service and parts changers who claim to be mechanics.
