On Jan. 16, 20, I purchased a set of hearing aids from Audix Hearing for $89/pair. I paid for them online with my debit card. I realized later that night that they had charged my account twice for this so I emailed the Customer Service Department & asked that they refund the extra $89 asap because it was going to make me overdrawn on my account.
I received a computer generated note back from them saying that due to a record response they were too busy to answer emails at that time but it should be responded to in 48 hours. I told them I was not trying to rush them with getting my order out, I just wanted to get it corrected & have the $89 extra returned. Again, I received the same computerized response. This went on for about 7-10 days. I finally told them that I was going to report them to the BBB if this wasn't handled within 5 days.
It was not handled but they sent me an email saying that they were no longer selling hearing aids and if I continued to have problems I should contact their customer service center and gave me their email address. When I wrote to them to file my complaint I received a returned email from Returned Mail: 550 User ([email protected]) unknown.
