Let me begin that this is the first time I have ever written an on-line review, which indicates how unhappy my husband and I are with the wood we purchased.
Last year we used this company and the firewood was fine. We received a text message from him earlier this month asking if we wanted to order wood and we ordered a full truckload. Unfortunately the wood this year was horrible!
A good portion of the wood was under 8" in length and then there were some way too large odd chunk pieces! This has made it very difficult to try to stack. Tons of bark, scraps and bug (termite/carpenter ant?) eaten wood. We will not even bring a lot of the wood into the house...it will have to go in the outdoor fire pit.
The amount of debris (unusable pieces of wood/dirt and even asphalt pieces) left when we moved the wood was unbelievable!
We contacted the owner and told him how unhappy we were with the delivery and his response was that next year we could place a special order for the size we are looking for. Has he ever heard the saying "fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice shame on me". There will not be a next time...and HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!
