Alpine Swiss misrepresented their jacket and I didn't receive what I ordered. Alpine Swiss admitted the 'mistake' and eventually provided a return label for UPS. I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COSTS TO PACKAGE, print label and drive 45 min round trip with gas at 3.50 a gallon and wait in line for 10 + min to return something I didn't order. Since I ordered a 100% wool jacket as described on their site and received one made of polyester, I shouldn't be obligated to bear the costs and inconvenience to ship it back.

They refused to have UPS pick up because that would have cost them more money. They wanted me to cover the costs for Their 'mistake'. I also attached 4 screenshots of other coats they advertised claiming they were 100% wool but in the fine print it was 70% polyester or a wool blend which is the same 70% polyester. Alpine Swiss did not respond back when I told them nearly half their coats were misrepresented and that it is bait and switch to advertise 100% wool and send polyester with only 30%wool. No response from alpine Swiss.

Alpine markets their coats on Walmart and other online sites using the same bait and switch tricks. I have submitted a request for Amazon to investigate and to also look at their reviews which I suspect have been rigged. It's impossible to find a way to review them on google and yet they have all kinds of positive google reviews. When a company operates in such a sleazy way, I doubt they are going to have so many positives. An ethical company would not have so many 'mistakes' in all their online stores.

An ethical company would have sent a self sealing and self addressed envelope for me to put the jacket inside so I could have UPS pick it up  They should have credited my card immediately due to the bait and switch 'mistake'.They did not which is further proof this is an unethical company that misrepresents their products . This violates FTC regulations but apparently this is not important to alpine Swiss. Several Amazon reps didn't think they were obligated to cover anything beyond a return label in spite of the large number of misrepresentations on their platform. I spent hours with amazon because they shouldn't allow unethical practices like this.

Eventually an amazon manager issued a small gift card which could partially compensate if I find an exclusive amazon product to use it on. Alpine Swiss has operated in an unethical way by tricking me into buying a fake wool coat and expected me to incur handling costs after being duped by them. Very skeevy behavior.
