AGENTRA HEALTHCARE aka INSURANCE LINE ONE - is a RIP-OFF.
I contacted them in December 2018 to sign up for a healthcare insurance plan. Normally I obtain insurance via employee payroll deductions, but my current employers plan was way too expensive to afford, so I began to look outside.
I found Agentra online & spoke with a rep who spoke to me about different options & then had me sign into a different website. ( insurancelineone.com). This looked legit ( similar to my states healthcare website ( not affordable -with similar plans ) and included very detailed plans by TOP healthcare providers ( United health, Cigna, & more).
After grilling him about different plans, I selected one by Cigna. It was a normal plan which included things like hospital stays, Dr's appts with a $50 deductible, ambulance rides, surgery etc. ALL of the things you would find in a normal healthcare insurance plan. The price was $209 / Mo which I agreed to. He told me a link to the plan is provided through my user portal. I logged in and the plan and all details was there exactly as described. So no worries for me. Or so I thought.
I did not use the plan until 3 months later. I was also very thorough & called them to describe the eye doctor appt I was about to make, which was a follow up to a surgery I had earlier in the year. I called 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE and they all me that the appointment would be covered under a $50 deductible, including any eye exams and in-office surgery that would be needed.
To cover my bases, I aso had my Drs office billing person call to make sure. She called on several occasions & spoke with at least 3 people ( I lost count) & was also advised the visit would be covered. One of them was a supervisor.
We found out later that it was only NOT covered, but the plan I had was a "preventative medicine" ONLY plan that does NOT provide healthcare, but only provides for 'tests' like Cancer screenings, PAP smears, Flu shots & other things that no one in their right mind would pay $208/ Mo for. Plus they charged a $100 'sign-up' fee which was not initially disclosed.
When I went back onto my log in page I saw the flim-flam " preventative" plan listed instead of the all - inclusive plan I was duped into thinking I was buying.
I later spoke with a 'supervisor' there who said it sounds like I was looking at a state healthplan website. I agree.
I am now fighting to get my money back. I used a credit card & my debit card to make these payments. I went to visit their website today ( 5/20/19) and it is mysteriously completely gone & " Under Construction" . One of the 3 URLs is aso not working. Here they are

DO NOT sign up for ANYTHING with this company. This is the MOST blatant rip-off I have ever seen. In fact, I have NEVER seen anything this ballsy. The healthcare industry needs to unleash itself from the Government so that operations like this are not out there ripping off the general public.
