On August 15th in the wee hours of the night someone "broke" into Ageless Treasures Antique Center at 100 Somerset Dr NW, Conover, NC 28613 and phone number (828) 322-1974. I had a monthly rental coin case in and all but 5 sets were robbed valued at 2k+ along with another case valued at 8k. No cameras allegedly recording at the time and no alarm system as well.
It's interesting how the crooks didn't smash the 2 cases, but pried or used a screwdriver to get the locks open (first the story was they used a key from the store). Owners Duane Cozzen and Mona Cozzen will not pay for loss and neither will the insurance company. Be aware putting anything valuable in this antique shop because it may mysteriously go missing like mine did.
Owner called police and for some reason decided to enter store before they arrived. Something is odd about this "burglary" and maybe you can figure it is too. Duane Cozzen also runs an internet radio station called Super Classic Radio out of Claremont, NC. 100 Somerset Drive Northwest, Conover, North Carolina 28613
