I purchased a Gateway computer from Best Buy. Within 2 years the computer is done and this is after 3 visits from geek squad. After contacting Gateway their customer service suggested that I check the site for specials going on to purchase a new one. When I asked if they were going to credit me for this lemon, the agent said "no, we cant hold your hand through the buying process". Which of course I take to mean dont buy a Gateway. Gateway will not back their product even though, with the phone to my ear right now, their rep just told me that the product had to be defective.
