On October 28, 1999, we paid $26,000 upfront to Meridian One Technologies (Orders-Online.com)of 2929 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, to take over our subscription-access Web site and rebuild it with new features on or before January 31, 2000.

We paid upfront to gain a 10% discount. It wasn't worth it! The site is operational, but one month after deadline it isn't up to specifications, Meridian One's CEO, Omar Sayed, is unresponsive to complaints and has no schedule for completing 14 deficiencies on the site.

Key features needed to attract new subscribers and to compete against other companies entering our market have not been activated.

As a small family-operated business, we have exhausted our capital on this business-expansion project and now must stand aside in frustration, worse-off than before we engaged Meridian One, as other better-funded corporations move into a market that we pioneered. We have no way to defend ourselves because we cannot activate essential features.

Our warning to others is that Meridian One, Orders-Online.com and Omar Sayed will not or cannot deliver on their promises.

Dear Sir,

I am Omar Sayed with Meridian One. I was notified by a client about the presence of a report about me and my company that exists on Rip Off report.

It was very shocking for me to see this report because I feel it consists entirely of false statements. There was a short period of time when the client was frustrated but the statemements are totally untrue. We have done everthing we promised the client and beyond. We have over 2000 clients and never had complaints. Yet one single and false complaint makes us look as if we are a

fraudulent company. The client is still using our services, and if the statements were infact true, they would not be using our services.

The client told me that they have requested for the report be taken off but that has not happened. The client has added a small statement that the problem has been resolved but this is not a true statement because the problems they have described were not accruate to begin with.

The client also sent me a apology letter and a testimonial about working with us. But that does not solve the problem that a false and derogatory report still exists about us on your site. If it were true, I believe you would have all the reason to keep it there, but the falseness is causing undeserved harm to us,

and it takes the form of slander and libel. Free-speech is one thing, but making wrongful statements is not a right thing to do.

If we were notified by you about this report, we would have communicated with you a long time ago. But we just found out about this recently. I am sure you have reports that are not accurate, and you can remove such reports for file. If someone filed a false statment about you personally on your site, would

you not remove it? I urge you to take this matter into special consideration, just as if it were about you, and even though it is not according to your policy, please make the exception to remove this report so that it does not damage our otherwise spotless reputation.

I know your website serves a very needed purpose, and I credit you for creating such a useful site. But by letting lies become a part of the site, your site is not serving its intended purpose.

The report in question is:

I hope to hear back from you soon.

Thank you.

.........note: from badbusinessbureau.com

We do not delete reports.

If the complainant did not tell the truth, tell him to send that to us that he lied. (information will be verified) If he did apologize, under what conditions was this? Did you agree to rectify the situation if he apologized and that he had to send the badbusinessbureau.com a letter stating such?

that sounds like a deal made for the court system or for the Better Business Bureau, remember were're the badbusinessbureau.com.
