Now.... i know theres a lot of you who tire of the phone calls, and want to but cant reach the companies that contribute to the harassment. I have your answers.I live in VA Beach and a friend of mine was recently terminated by this company for not producing sales in which he tells them " I cannot make them buy if they dont want to." He is angry and pervided information about this company in which i will share. The company is named IMA.....
Their number is 757-490-9860 { call floor managers}, 757-497-4915{ main office}. They are located at 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd. They slave their employees for 7 to 7 and a half hrs. with only 1 10 min break soo they're hopped up on coffee and constantly threatened to lose their jobs. No im not standing up for them at all, i receive calls from them too, work is hard to find around here. Please call them and let them know how you feel about their sweepstakes offer and promotion. I will.

I have now received the same call, "Dreams Come True Sweepstakes" a few different times. The caller asks for me, and tells me about how my bank 'entered' me into the contest. Then they want to confirm my address. They read my address to me, which is an OLD address, so that they can send my certified letter, if I win. I have told multiple callers that the address is not correct, so they ask for my new address, which I refuse to give.
As I told them, if my bank gave you my old address, they have the new one, get it from them. Today's caller got very offended when I explained that I do not give out my personal information to an unsolicited caller. I told her very kindly "Give me your address, then I'll give you mine." She thought I was crazy, when I said I have been a victim of fraud, and will not provide my info, and she told me "what kind of fraud could we do, with just your address? We are with William Randolph, and we have been around since 1907 (or some year, I was taking notes, but I didn't get that written down fast enough) and why would we want to ruin our reputation with some fraud."
I told her to give me a phone number that I can call, if I decide that I trust that that sweepstakes is legitimate, so that I can provide an updated address. She assured me that if I don't, I will be withdrawn from the sweepstakes, and I assured her that I don't care. But she gave me her name, and said she was calling long distance, from Tucson, AZ and that the number on my caller ID would get to her. Today's caller was Stephanie at 520-298-9103. I won't be calling.

I received a call from Utah (or so she said), but the number was a Maryland number, which is where I live. The number was 301-232-0068. She asked for a guy and I responded no, you have the wrong number. She proceeded to ask, is this phone number ______? In which I say yes, and she responds then this is the correct number and she was calling because I was entered into a drawing from Dream Come True Sweepstakes. Mentioning customers of Visa, Mastercard or Discover...in which three credit cards participate in one contest? Sounds kind of weird. Asks me if I'm one of them, well it is basically all the major credit card companies. Then she asks if she could ask me a couple questions, if i'm single, married...I ask her what contest this is again? She says Dream Come True Sweepstakes. I quickly googled it and came across this complaint, so I wanted to keep her on the line to see what else she had to say. She asked which card provided the best service. What are my hobbies? And then launched into the magazine scam. Although, now, in 2012, it's only $4.99 a week! I must have said, "No." like 5 different ways and each time she kept saying, "maybe you didn't hear me correctly..." and continued on. I finally said, "I'm not interested and I have to go." So, she finally said to hold while she transferred me to someone who would enter me in a contest to win $50,000. I said ok and then hung up. Such a scam!!!

I received a call from Kentucky 270-926-3880 asking, "Is this Meredith?" In which I respond no, you have the wrong number. She proceeded to ask, is this phone number ______? In which I say yes, and she responds then this is the correct number (why would credit card companies which do have your information have the wrong name with the wrong number?), we are drawing from Dream Come True Sweepstakes and she starts talking fast. She says Dream Come True Sweepstakes and in which I say I don't think I even applied for this...at all. And she promptly hangs up. This is completely a scam, there was something off from the beginning
