In October of 2012 we signed to buy a manufactured home from Palm Harbor Homes in Webster Texas.
When we started thistransaction we were told a lot of things that did not happen, such as we were supposed to receive a Washer, dryer all new appliances, the house ready to move into on Jan. 26, 2013, that there was a full acre of land with it, when asked 3 times about that,we were assured that yes it was 1 acre of land.
On Jan.26,2013, the moving copmpany we hired moved ua out of the apartment and we were told then that we were not able to move in until February...we had to put all our belongings in a storage building, at our won cost, and move into an extended stay hotel for "a week or so". After 4 weeks in the hotel they finally told us it was ready, the well was good, the house was level, all appliances in and working. When we got the survey, it was only .1 acres a far cry from 1 acre, the dishwasher was old and is already gone out, the washer and dryer were never given to us, said we traded the washer and dryer for a ramp for me as I am disabled. That was not what they told us when we signed to buy this house. We were assured that it was no problem to add a ramp.
The house is not level, it is sinking on the east side to the point the doors do not shut properly, the master bath shower doors are falling off the track, The told us at first it was city water, its not, its a well, they said we needed Propane, its all electric.
I never thought that this company was such a rip off, but I wish I knew then what I know now, the Webster office is run by rip offs and I would never tell anyone to go to them for a dog house .
