Thanks to the rip off report Capital Consumer Credit did not get my $39
Thank You! I got Tis Letter today in the mail 5,000.00 pre approved. I found a number for the company and confirmed my letter. The Number I called was 800-707-1689. What through me off was the pre printed envelope they sent me. Has a differnt address then the Recording at that number. Thanks for all the info saved me $39.00.

According to complaints received by the Bureau, the company is also sending notices to consumers stating they have been approved for a Platinum Credit Card with up to a $5,000 limit if they pay an advance fee of approximately $39.00. Consumers report that after sending in the requested fee they then receive a package from the company containing a catalog and their credit card, and then discover the card can only be used to order merchandise from the catalog.
