John Robert Clark Antiques Transaction For A Watch Valued At $10,000, Replica Fake Watch. Dallas, Texas

On March 16th, 2024 I notified John Robert Clark that a Franck Mueller Watch that was traded in a business transaction last year has turned out to be a replica watch. I took the timepiece to Provident Jeweler in Wellington Florida for servicing and they informed me that this watch was unable to be serviced because it did not have authentic watch parts. They provided me with a report.
The Franck Mueller watch was valued at $10,000 in our business transaction, John Robert Clark has made no attempt to make good on this monetary amount since being informed of the Fake timepiece, it has been almost 2 months. I provided a formal written demand letter in the amount of $10,000 that was agreed upon in our business transaction. This was sent by email and also by certified mail. The only responses were sarcastic ( screen shot provided ) and a slew of unsavory text messages. None of the correspondence was productive nor did it have any resolution. I even offered to send back the Timepiece in exchange for the goods that were in the transaction and there was no response from Mr.Clark.
I have tried to handle this matter as professionally as possible, but when there was no offer to make good on the watch ( either monetarily or with a return of goods ) I was left with no other choice then to file a police report for a replica watch transaction.
I notified Mr.Clark of the Police Report and I sent a copy by certified mail as well. There was no response and no offer to remedy the transaction with the Fake Replica Franck Mueller Watch. I am in the process of having my attorney file a lawsuit in Palm Beach County, I believe that it will fall under Grand Theft which is three times the amount. There is also the selling of Fake Designer Goods and Interstate Transaction that may be in the filing as well. Mr.Clark will be responsible for all filing fees, attorney fees and monies owed from the transaction up to three times in damages.
It is very unfortunate that this is the route that I have had to go in order to attempt to remedy the transaction. I had a very good business and personal relationship with Mr.Clark. However, after this timepiece was sent to me the correspondence dwindled and the communication that was at one point in time weekly became sporadic to hardly at all. All I wanted was to be made whole. But Mr.Clark has not had any interest in making this right. I have attached the copy of the watch report from the jeweler, the police report, Demand Letter and a copy of the response from Mr.Clark by email. I think that the response tells you enough.
Please note, I have kept my address and name blacked out on the receipts and correspondence. But these copies can be furnished unedited if required.

STOP BORROWING MONEY. You are broke. Borrowing money makes you even more broke. And filing for bankruptcy may not be a bad idea depending on what your debts are. I doubt it would make your credit any worse than it already is. Also, I am not sure how back taxes constitute an emergency. You didn't know you had to pay taxes? Or you tried to lie on your tax return and it didn't work?
