Beniah Hacker GC for Boanerges General Contractors Took off with money without finishing project Mckinney, Texas
We hired Boanerges GC Beniah Hacker for a remodel of our two bathrooms and buildout of a sunroom at our property in Frisco Texas. The project began in January 2023. Both bathrooms were completed within three weeks of start with amazing results. Contract stated that all projects would be completed within three months however failed to initiate the permit for the patio and sunroom enclosure until June 2023, these permits are six months long before they expire. I consulted with the city of Frisco after hearing that my contractor was having difficulties in obtaining this permit and was told that as the permit expired in December 2023, there was no Information provided by the contractor that was requested by the city of Frisco to show images such as the location in correlation with property lines, as well as the markup for any electrical and exterior materials that are used. In December 2023, I requested Beniah Hacker, our general contractor to come by my house to discuss the expiration of the permit and return of monies paid. The contractor explained to us that he had already spent the money over $17,000 that was given for the sunroom, but it failed to get any permits approved.
The contractor then stated that if we wanted the project to be completed since he did not have the money to refund us we could his homeowners obtain the permits ourselves. We stated to the contractor that regardless, we would need our money back so we can faith move forward, after discussing with the city of Frisco, all the financial and legal responsibilities for the insurance and liability that would come with obtaining these permits ourselves and not the general contractor we advised Beniah that we would not be moving forward with obtaining our own permits and we would need to discuss the return of all monies paid toward the project that he had not initiated or finished. But I Hacker has failed to return any emails phone calls or text messages to either myself or fellow. Homeowner in regards to any request for explanation or return of funds we have since filed a complaint against Boanerges general contracts With the BBB as well as filed complaint reviews on yelp Google next-door and filling out this report on rip off report.com
