Complaint Review: Sunshine Subscription Agency Gemini Sales Palmetto Marketing

The company above is selling magazines door-to-door in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Sunshine Subscriptions (aka Gemini Sales) has the same address as Palmetto Marketing which has numerous complaints filed against them. The toll-free number that I was given is answered by a "Dress Company". The company is not listed in the yellow pages. They operate in groups of 10, staying locally, and selling in teams of 2.

I was scammed by the charming two young men and ordered a magazine for my Grandson, which I am sure now that I will never see. I have reported the incident to the police and stopped payment on the check. I realize that it is very hard to prove that a crime has been committed at this time. The receipt plainly states that it take 90-120 days to get your subscription.

Based on the complaints filed against Palmetto this is a very active scheme that should be put out of business.
