Showhome Parade Tom Erickson, Dehlin Erickson, Rennovation Rescue, Gallantry Homes, 5-Star Homes, Quality Control Inspections. Showhome Parade's Tom Erickson has scammed countless people and is now being sued by many. Internet, Alberta
WARNING: Be very careful of Tom Erickson and his Showhome Parade scam.
After my husbands construction company was approached by Tom Erickson from CTVs Showhome Parade, he spoke to me about it. He said that although he spoke about a TV show, I couldnt trust him. So being in the construction industry, we decided to have our lawyer check him out and this is what we found.
Tom Erickson, Producer of Showhome Parade, has been hurting and scamming people for several years. Now he is facing multiple lawsuits due to his dishonest methods of cheating business owners out of money. Be very careful of dealing with this person. Ask your attorney to do a background check on this person before you give him any money. We did and are relieved for doing our homework.
Many contractors, homeowners, and business owners have given him money without receiving promises made by him. One particular business owner in the new home construction industry said Tom Erickson is good at making promises but fails to deliver on anything. If you see him, tell him I want my money back.
Another Business owner in the web design industry (who asked to remain nameless) told us Tom Erickson owed me a lot of money for all the services I gave him. When I asked him for it, he just disappeared.
TD Bank is currently suing this Showhome Parade producer for nearly $20,000 after taking out a large loan and never making a payment.
Global TV also is suing this Showhome Parade producer for airing one of his programs and skipping town without paying his bills.
Now Mr. Erickson spends his time traveling to Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, & Regina. seeking to sell builders on buying his new scam - a TV show with a hidden agenda - he refuses to tell them that he is forbidden to show their logo or mention their name when airing the show.
So what exactly are these builders paying him for? They pay him between $6,000 - $8,500 for a blind walkthrough of a house that lasts only a few minutes. That money gives the builder no branding, no identification, no marketing, and no sales. To be brutally honest... it's just bland and not entertaining. See for yourself at: www.showhomeparade.ca
We found that we can generate the same video, with our name, logo, professional cast for of what they would have charged our company. Shop around to many production firms and marketing agencies.
As Builders pay Showhome Parade Tom Erickson thousands of dollars, he gets his money once again and provides no return on investment or return on promises... as usual. Be careful, be smart, and dont be scammed.
