 I have a 32 " HDTV made by Sceptre . Shortly after purchase the screen went black . I have sound but no picture . I researched this only to find that this is an all too common issue with Sceptre televisions . There are literally thousands of online complaints concerning this exact issue . I contacted tech support by email . After describing the problem and stating that i had noticed this to be a common problem , tech support immediately stopped replying to emails and offered no resolution to the problem . I then called customer support and was again offered no resolution and quite frankly , was treated very rudely by the lady at customer support . I asked to speak to a supervisor and was literally told by this lady that noone would take that call ....no management would speak to a customer or address any complaint . I was also told by her that they are advised by corporate to offer no resolution to customer complaints and in fact they do not stand behind their product and will not . She told me to go buy a new television or pay a repairman to fix it . She offered to give me an email for a company to purchase the parts to fix it myself . Extremely unprofessional , unethical and undeserving of their place in the consumer market . In my opinion Walmart would be wise to no longer carry this line of products . Affordability means very little if quality is sub-standard and customers rights are trampled while warranties are not honored .
