Took my vehicle into the Safelite auto glass location at 1601 Plano Pkwy in Plano to have a cracked windshield replaced. Windshield was replaced, I paid the bill and left.

Sometime later I received a call from safelite indicating I had been charged the amount for another customer's bill. Multiple transactions were required to straighten this mess out.

Fourteen months later I am having problems with the engine compartment seal on my vehicle not staying in place. Well it turns out several of the fasteners used to secure this seal were missing. The hardware was not reinstalled upon completion of the windshield replacement.

After contacting safelite about this they indicated that it had been too long since the service was performed and a decision was made by management that the fasteners would not be replaced by them.

The work required to properly install the cowling and engine seal was never completed by Safelite.

Safelite resoloved missing hardware

Upon completion of my initial rippoff report I notified Safelite of the report being filed. Immediately I was assured that the problem would be resolved. They ordered the necessary parts for my vehicle and called me to set an appointment to complete the work. They installed the missing hardware.
