Okie Corp., Prime Peripherals consumer fraud LOW-Class Action
I sent my rebate materials by certified mail on 3/19/01 from Andover MA. The letter was picked up from their probably overflowing PO Box on 4/2/01. This I took as a bad sign.
After a lot of threats to call my lawyer and the FTC, I finally got a check directly from OKIE Corp. ( a company with which I shall never do any kind of business) for half the rebate promise of 29.99 for the modem .Some recent e-mails have me optimistic That I will be receiving the $45 check soon....we'll see.
I'd like to use this site to help bring all the ebate 'promisees' together for legal action against Prime Peripherals, Okie Corp., and the rebate 'clearinghouse' (for lack of better term). I think a successful class action inclusive of punitive damages and legal fees will discourage this kind of fraud in the future.
Any Attorneys out there?
