Oak Motors Take your money before you get to read the contract, no disclosure during the sales process, NO REFUND Indianapolis Indiana
Went to Oak to see about buying a vehicle, and my credit is less than perfect. I have never dealt with a buy here pay here lot before. Took awhile to settle on vehicle, they told me down payment and what my weekly payments were, I agreed to those numbers at that point. They then wanted $200.00 right then, so being stupid I gave them my debit card and they took my $200.00.
Then I was taken to the closing office, and then the book was brought out, way to many pages with way to may stipulations, it was late closing time and I was rushed thru the process like an idiot, I signed! I was told that copies of everything would be given to me to read. Stupid again!
Once I got home I read the entire book, what an eye opener. Nothing was disclosed during the sales process.
I took the car back because of my concerns, Steve Howard the Sales Manager did what he gets paid to do so I took the car home again. Then I realized that not only was the GPS mis-represented by the closer, but I did not get all of the copies of the contract. They even emailed me a copy of one I signed that was not in my packet concerning insurance.
To make it short I took tha car back with a full tank of gas, and then I am told NO REFUND on my $200.00 and that They would report it as a repo, LOL. I had the car less than 3 days.
If you do decide to buy from Oak Motors DO NOT give them money until you go to the closing office and read thru the contract. Do not be stupid like I was, and give them money before reading.
They refuse to give me back my $200.00, but in the end we shall see how that works out for them. They want me to sign a release but still no refund. Sorry, no money no release. BEWARE
