I was not able to reach WorldCom wireless from April 2001 to the end of September of 2001. My phone was stolen in early April 2001. The representative I reported it to, misinformed me. She instructed me that lowering the monthly plan was not necessary since the billing would be suspended for 60 days. I was curious as to why I had not received a bill yet, so I had tried to call WorldCom in June of 2001. I was not able to reach anyone. I finally received my first bill in august of 2001. There was no itemized list of my service. The number on the first bill was incorrect. I sent in a letter, and emailed. I received no response. I received another bill that told me they had suspended my service, which is odd, since I had voluntarily suspended it when I reported the phone stolen. I was able to get in contact with a customer service rep, which informed that world come destroys documents after a month, so there was no way to prove I had ever suspended the service at my request. Since I was misinformed, and I could not get in contact with WorldCom, I had asked to have the billing plan from the months of May to September lowered to the lowest plan possible. They told me no. I paid 65 dollars, for the months that I had used the service. Which are March and April of 2001. I called WorldCom again, after 6 tries; I was able to get through. And they still will not lower my payment. I have no itemized bill, so I do not know exactly what they are charging me for, and I could not contact them for 5 months to question about the billing, to lower payments, to discuss about replacing the phone, etc. WorldCom refuses to do anything about it. The service reps. will not give me other numbers or othe persons to talk to upon my many requests. as far as i am concerned they have not held up to the standards of their contract obligations.

Beware of this company. if anyone has any ideas of how to file a class action law suit let me know. they are not getting a cent more from me. i wont be able to get another cellular service from anyone else for a long time because of this mess. i have already filed with the better business bureu (a lady there told me to get in a long line, because they have tons of complaints on worldcom) and i filed a complaint with the fcc.
