My wife sent this man our son’s $250 Wilson a2000 baseball glove for break-in, paid $50 for return shipping and break-in service, and never received glove back. When provided the tracking number it went to separate address in different state. Asked for refund plus cost of glove and was then ghosted by Mr. James. Have not heard from him since.

We believe that this man really the gloves instead of breaking them in. He asks for PayPal Friends and Family as payment so we cannot asks PayPal for refund and now we are out coat paid for services not providers along with $250 value of glove. Don’t fall for this scammer and please report if you have likewise been ripped off!

I have conducted business with John James the Glove breaker for several years now and have referred hundreds to him. He is the only person beside myself that will touch my kids or players gloves. I’m waiting for glove number 15 that he has broke in for my children and my players I coach. It pisses me off that you would even post this information!

Received glove. We were just initially given the wrong tracking number. Was not ripped off by Mr. James. It was just a misunderstanding.

Glove finally arrived a month after sending for break-in. Mr. James did the service but is apparently very back-logged and has no inventory management. The tracking number he sent was for someone else's glove and were were surprised to find the glove at our door.
