When you hire extremely rude people, you're going to get low-quality customer service. According to the sign posted on the door, they do inspections there. The sign is the biggest lier in the entire Big Bend because the person who does the inspection is always unavailable. It is almost as if they do not exist.
I would not go here at all for any big job if the quality of their work is the same as the quality of their customer service. They would rip you off if you came in for a big job.
In summary, if you find yourself at a mechanic called Highland Automotive located at 104 S Harmon St, Alpine, TX 79830, do yourself a favor and turn around. They are going to abuse you and your time. Do not call their phone number which is (432) 837-2523 and do not trust their hours which are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm for general work and 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 2 pm for inspections. You cannot trust them.
